Hi Liz and everyone else!
My role - as most of you know- is to provide individual advocacy for young people. It seems that every case is different so far and I've been working on a range of issues with young people. The big issues are definitely accommodation and education and then other stuff such as employment and how to access and complain about services.
Of course because YDAS is new George and I have also had to work on promotion and I've spent a fair bit of time so far telling people about my role and encouraging people to pass on my details to any young person with a disability who might benefit from advocacy.
